[[**LIVESTREAMs**Anthony Joshua vs Helenius Live Free Broadcast ON 12 August 2023

Anthony Joshua is back in a boxing ring tonight when he squares off against veteran heavyweight Robert Helenius. The Brit was scheduled for another instalment of his long-running intense feud with London rival Dillian Whyte, only for that bout to be called off following “adverse analytical findings” in an anti-doping test from Whyte.

Now, with just four days notice, Helenius has stepped in to take on two-time former heavyweight champion Joshua. AJ is still rebuilding his career following his damaging defeats to Oleksandr Usyk. The experienced Helenius, 39, last fought only a week ago in his native Finland and accepted a late call to step in at the O2 Arena.

Joshua’s team have been keen to get him back out, with a mega-money fight against Deontay Wilder in the offing early in 2024.

Here’s how to watch all the action tonight, with an undercard featuring the likes of Filip Hrgovic, Johnny Fisher, Derek Chisora, Campbell Hatton and more.

How to watch Joshua vs Helenius

TV channel: Joshua vs Helenius is being broadcast live and exclusive on DAZN, but not via their pay-per-view service as the Whyte fight was originally supposed to be. A subscription to DAZN currently costs from £9.99 per month in the UK.

The sports streaming service has DAZN 1 HD in the UK and Ireland on channel 429 on Sky.

Live stream: The DAZN app and website will offer a live stream service online across mobile devices, laptops, games consoles and more.

Live blog: You can follow coverage of the entire card with Standard Sport’s live fight blog on Saturday night.

Anthony Joshua fights Robert Helenius at the O2 Arena tonight, as the Finn steps in for Dillian Whyte on seven days’ notice.

Joshua was set for his third clash with Whyte here, having lost to his fellow Briton as an amateur before knocking him out in 2015. However, Whyte returned an adverse finding in a drug test last week, leading him to be pulled from tonight’s main event. Helenius, a former sparring partner of “AJ”, steps in, just seven days after having fought and won in Finland.

With that early stoppage of Mika Mielonen, Helenius bounced back from a first-round loss to Deontay Wilder, who was left in tears after stopping the 39-year-old in the first round in October. Meanwhile, Joshua, 33, last fought in April, beating Jermaine Franklin on points to respond positively to two straight losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

Can the former two-time heavyweight champion stay on track for a potential bout with Wilder? We’ll find out tonight in London. Follow live updates and results from the main event and undercard, below.

In recent years, it has become quite fashionable to criticise Joshua. At times, it has been relatively easy to. In the years since the heavyweight became the darling of British boxing, he has won world titles, lost them, regained them and lost them again – to the dismay of some and delight of others. Even in victory, he is susceptible to backlash, as was most evident in the reactions to his points win over Jermaine Franklin in April.

Joshua and Whyte were set to renew their rivalry in London on Saturday night but the clash was cancelled after the Body Snatcher failed a drugs test..Thanks.>_<.
